The 8th Annual Fiber Festival features eighteen artists with original fiber art who will exhibit and sell their work in mediums of paper, wearable art (clothing), weaving, quilts, knits, fiber sculpture and basketry. Sponsored by the Leelanau Community Cultural Center, the festival is at Leland's Old Art Building.
Bay Harbor’s Octoberfest offers shows, demonstrations and activities for all ages each weekend in October. Enjoy fresh foods from local farmers at the farm market and experience fine dining at local restaurants. Participate in the Shopping Scramble at the specialty stores on Main Street and enjoy trunk shows and decorating demonstrations. Kid's activities include pony rides, a pumpkin patch and craft tables. Proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Awareness.
